Either it is suhoor or breakfast; yogurt is an essential component on the table in every household which is used fondly by people of every age. Yogurt helps reducing the cholesterol, weight and blood pressure; it improves immune system and digests quickly. According to specifications, yogurt is brought from the market but the majority of women prepare it at home. The method is very simple; a little amount of sour yogurt is added in the lukewarm milk and is kept for overnight. Till morning, the milk turns from liquid to solid and it has cream over it. It is said that the people who eat yogurt taste the flavor of long life. Following are some benefits of yogurt for human health:

A healthy diet: The calcium, protein, riboflavin, vitamin B and folic acid in yogurt are very useful for human health. According to an estimate an equal amount of yogurt carries more calcium than milk. Similarly it contains twenty percent more protein. 

Cholesterol reduction: Experts have proven through research that cholesterol is the major cause of heart attack that is reduced by yogurt. A surprising reduction is noticed in cholesterol level by eating two bowls of yogurt daily.

 

An antibiotic storage: It would not be wrong if yogurt is referred to as the storage of antibiotic. It not only kills the harmful bacteria but also prevents and eliminates the extremely dangerous bacteria before they enter the kidneys and bladder. Yogurt has no parallel when it comes to cure for intestinal ulcer. Giving yogurt to the children who cannot digest milk is beneficial; it enables them to digest milk. Diarrhea is a common disease in children; yogurt is also favorable food for this. 

Improvement in immune system: As it has been told that yogurt controls and eliminates the infection in the blood system moreover it protects from fungus.

 

Reduction in high blood pressure: Most people are unaware of the harmful and fatal effects resulting with excessive usage of salt. And due to this ignorance, they keep using salt unnecessarily and have to face the consequences in the form of high blood pressure. If such people use yogurt, it reduces the excessive sodium in their body and controls blood pressure. 

Digests quickly than milk: Many people cannot digest milk; either it causes vomit or indigestion which results in weakness. Such people should use yogurt instead of milk. Yogurt strengthens the enzymes in body that have the ability to digest. 

Cause of weight loss: According to an American research, the people who use yogurt are successful in losing 22% weight while 81% people reduce abdominal fats successfully. The reason is that calcium in yogurt is helpful in reducing belly. 

Treatment of choline cancer: Lacto bacteria in yogurt, saves from intestinal cancer. Lacto bacteria are found in the intestine, this healthy bacterium hinders the production of choline. In addition, calcium in yogurt also stops the production of bile acid. Yogurt is a symbol of health for old citizens as well.
